The White River Health White River Medical Center Inpatient Rehab team was recently recognized as one of the top 10 percent of Inpatient Rehabilitations Facilities in the United States. This is out of 861 inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) qualified to be ranked in the IRF database of Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR®, LLC). The reporting period was for cases discharged between October 2021 and September 2022.

Kayla Crawford, APRN, Family Medicine provider, is seeing patients at White River Health Family Care, previously known as the Newport Medical Diagnostic Clinic. She joins providers Dr. Mitchell Keel and Marlo Hargrave, APRN.

White River Health Family Care, previously known as Stone County Primary Care Clinic, in Mountain View will change hours of operation beginning January 22nd. The clinic will be open Tuesdays through Fridays, and closed on Mondays. The clinic will remain open 7AM to 5:30PM on the days of operation.

The White River Health Foundation Golf Classic raised more than $107,000 for White River Health Cancer Detection and Treatment Services. On Saturday, September 17, 27 teams competed at The Course at Eagle Mountain. The Golf Classic was sponsored by 44 businesses and individuals.

Fall is returning to Batesville, and with that comes HealthFirst, the annual women’s health event hosted by White River Health (WRH) and First Community Bank (FCB). FCB and WRH have partnered to offer an event focused on women’s health. For the first time since the start of COVID-19, this year’s HealthFirst Women’s Health Event will be indoors. HealthFirst Women’s Health Event will be presented at the Batesville Community Center on Tuesday, October 11th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. This year’s event theme, “Wild About Your Health,” will be full of jungle-filled fun, taking women on a safari to help navigate the many aspects of their health.

The Stone County Primary Care Clinic, soon to be the White River Health Family Care, is proud to welcome Robin Franke, APRN, FNP-C. Robin is currently seeing patients. As an APRN, Robin will provide primary care, including wellness exams, to patients of all ages.
