White River Health (WRH) is an acute care, multi-facility, not-for-profit, regional referral center serving North Central Arkansas since 1976, when it was established as the White River Medical Center (WRMC). In 1999, WRH added Stone County Medical Center (SCMC), located in Mountain View, to the growing number of service locations. The WRH service area now includes ten counties: Independence, Izard, Sharp, Stone, and parts of Cleburne, Fulton, Jackson, Lawrence, Van Buren, and White.

White River Health partners with educational institutions to promote the development of careers in healthcare. Students receive valuable training during clinical rotations putting classroom instruction into practical experience. Clinical rotations at White River Health facilities are offered in nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, radiology, and respiratory therapy. Leaders from our organization further support healthcare education as instructors, mentors and as members of governing boards of higher education institutions.

Sponsorship requests are reviewed and approved by the White River Health Marketing and Community Engagement Office. The sponsorship request form is required for all requests and incomplete applications will be rejected. Organizations will be notified via email of the status of their request.
