Café V, White River Medical Center's cafeteria offers visitors a wide variety of dining options. Diners may choose from the plate lunch menu, grill, pizza, salad bar, or specialty menu. The hospital proudly serves Starbucks products in the coffee bar.

The Cheering Section Gift Shop is operated and staffed by hospital volunteers. Proceeds fund the purchase of medical equipment, nursing scholarships, and volunteer special programs. The gift shop provides a great place for visitors and employees to shop for the latest in home décor and gift items. Our buyers attend markets in Dallas and Atlanta searching for the latest trends and gift ideas.
You can also select get-well items from the gift shop to be promptly delivered to a patient's room.

In most cases patients look forward to telephone calls from family and friends while in the hospital and calls are welcome and encouraged. At WRMC, most patient rooms may be reached by calling (870) 262 plus the four digit room number. Patients of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit may be reached by calling (870) 262-1200 and asking to be connected to the patient's room. To speak with patients being cared for in Senior Haven, Intensive Care and Intermediate Care please dial (870) 262-1200 and ask the operator to connect you with the Nurse's Station for the department needed. Calls may be arranged as long as the call doesn't interfere with the patient's care and recovery.
At SCMC if you know a patient's room number you may use the automated phone system to connect with the patient's room. Dial (870) 269-7444, at the prompt choose option 1 and enter the four digit room number. To ask for a patient by name, dial (870) 269-4361 and ask to be connected the patient's room.

WRH Visitor Policy recognizes the important role of family, friends, and spiritual support in the healing process. We welcome and encourage visitors. We reserve the right to ask visitors to leave a patient's room during tests, treatment, personal care, or to ensure patient safety and comfort. The healing environment and personal safety are our priority. If the actions or language of a visitor is disruptive to a healthy, safe environment, that person will be asked to leave the premises. Patient care units with specific visitor guidelines are listed. Act 311 of 2021 sets minimum standards for visitation for healthcare organizations licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH).
