CareGivers is the White River Health employee giving program. Gifts to CareGivers directly benefit facilities and programs in the WRH service area. CareGivers promotes positive and rewarding charitable giving, and encourages teamwork for continuous improvement of WRH.
CareGivers members may choose to allocate 75% of their gift to one of the following WRH Initiatives. The remaining 25% is allocated to the Area of Greatest Need (as determined by the WRH Foundation Board of Trustees).
Employees may join CareGivers at any time. To join, complete and sign the CareGivers sign up form and forward to the Foundation office via inter-office mail. Printed forms are available online or from the Foundation staff, Human Resources, your Director, or the Gift Shop.
A minimum gift of one hour of your hourly wage per month and a four month commitment are required to join. You can choose to increase your gift above the minimum membership requirement by indicating the amount on your membership application. Contributions to CareGivers are managed by the WRH Foundation, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible as allowed by Internal Revenue Service regulations.
Your CareGivers payroll deductions will begin in the pay cycle following processing of your membership application. CareGivers is voluntary, and you can cancel your membership at any time after the initial four-month commitment.
In addition to the rewards of generosity, CareGivers members receive:
