WRH Cherokee Village Emergency Services Recognized by UAMS

(Batesville, AR) - The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) stroke program awarded White River Health (WRH) Cherokee Village Emergency Services for their outstanding stroke response achievements.  Grace Gurley, RN received the 2024 Stroke Champion Award for her excellence in stroke care. Additionally, WRH Cherokee Village Emergency Services achieved the "Best Door-To-Needle Time" award for 2024, with notable contributions from Grace Gurley, RN and Nathan Wright, RN. The prompt response of the Spring River EMS for prenotification, along with the dedicated efforts from WRH nurses, CT personnel, and staff was integral to these accomplishments.
