White River Health Welcomes New Providers This Summer
(Batesville, Ark) – White River Health (WRH) is pleased to welcome five new providers to the Medical Staff this summer. New providers include Alison Lawhorn, LCSW and Andrew Curley, MD to WRH Behavioral Health; Ryan Holt, MD to the WRH Women’s Clinic; Joel Ubeda, MD to White River Health Surgery Clinic, specializing in Urology; and Cody McLeod, MD to WRH Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
Alison Lawhorn, LCSW is accepting adolescent and adult patients at WRH Behavioral Health for outpatient mental health services. The clinic is located at 2230 Harrison Street in Batesville and is open Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 5PM and Friday from 8AM to 2PM. The clinic can be reached at (870) 698-2100. Lawhorn works alongside Drs. Kristi Ketz and Patrick Mulick, Beverly Caraway, APRN, Angella Hendricks, LPC, Sarah Schlesinger and Betty Scott, LCSWs, and Nicole Smith, APRN, PMHNP-BC. Lawhorn completed her Master of Social Work from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.
Andrew Curley, MD is set to work at the Senior Haven in White River Medical Center (WRMC) beginning July 15. The Senior Haven is an acute geriatric inpatient mental health unit that specializes in treating patients 55 years of age or older. Curley completed his Doctor of Medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock and completed residency training in Psychiatry at Unity Health in Searcy.
WRH Women’s Clinic is scheduling appointments for new patients beginning July 29 for Ryan Holt, MD, Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Holt’s practice includes prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care, fertility counseling, and general gynecological care for women. He is accepting patients at WRH Women’s Clinic at 1215 Sidney Street, Suite 202 in Batesville. Appointments can be made by calling (870) 262-2000. Holt works alongside Drs. Katherine Appleget, Caroline Carlton, and Stacy Pollack, and APRNs Amanda Brock, Angela Burleson, and Madison Dover. Holt earned a Doctor of Medicine from UAMS in Little Rock and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.
Joel Ubeda, MD is accepting Urology patients at WRH Surgery Clinic, located at 501 Virginia Drive, Suite A in Batesville for appointments beginning August 19. His practice includes the treatment of conditions related to the kidneys, bladder, and urinary systems in men and women. The clinic can be reached at (870) 698-1846. Ubeda works alongside Drs. Hunter Brown and Robert Emery, and APRN Sarah Fuller. Ubeda earned a Doctor of Medicine from UAMS in Little Rock, where he also completed residency training in Urology.
Cody McLeod, MD is accepting patients at WRH Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for appointments beginning August 1. The clinic is located at 1690 Harrison Street in Batesville, across from WRMC. The clinic can be reached at (870) 793-2371. McLeod joins Drs. James Allen, Jeffery Angel, Dylan Carpenter, and Wesley Greer, and APRNS Chad Grady and Josh McIntosh. McLeod earned his Doctor of Medicine from UAMS in Little Rock, where he also completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency and served as Chief Resident. He recently completed fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery with Stanley Graves, MD in Scottsdale, AZ.
