Elastography

White River Medical Center imaging is now using ultrasound shear wave elastography to quantify tissue stiffness. This information is used to determine the presence or status of liver diseases. The elastography procedure is non-invasive, with no discomfort. Elastography measurements will be documented for the Radiologist.  All images are reviewed by the Radiologist and a detailed report of the results are sent to the referring doctor within 3-5 business days.
