Merlin Mathew, MD, Internal Medicine, is accepting new patients and established patients at White River Health Family Care in Mountain View. Dr. Mathew is a member of the medical staff at Stone County Medical Center.

Internal Medicine is a medical specialty that focuses on providing comprehensive primary care to the adult population. Internal Medicine physicians are specially trained in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of adult illnesses and chronic diseases. They often care for patients with multiple or complex medical conditions and emphasize preventive care, long-term wellness, and coordinated management of chronic health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses. Dr. Mathew earned her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Antigua and a Healthcare M.B.A. from Urbana University/Franklin University. She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Richmond University Medical Center and Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Mathew is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
