Cardiologist Nationally Recognized for Leadership

(Batesville, Ark) – White River Health (WRH) Internal Cardiologist Mahesh Anantha, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FSVM was honored by The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (SCAI) as one of 2025’s “30 in their 30s” award winners. Dr. Anantha was recognized for his achievement at an award ceremony held in Washington DC on May 3rd.
According to SCAI, this recognition is given to early career interventionalists who exhibit the qualities and clinical expertise expected of future leaders in interventional cardiology. Dr. Anantha serves as the Physician Director of Cardiovascular Services at White River Health, sees patients at WRH Cardiology, and is a member of the Medical Staff at White River Medical Center (WRMC).
“This award is not only a personal milestone, but a testament to the excellent team at White River Health who support innovation and patient-centered care every day,” stated Anantha. “I am grateful to have been chosen for such a prestigious distinction and look forward to continuing to contribute to the field of interventional cardiology and the care of our patients.”
As part of the award, Dr. Anantha will join a network of interventional cardiologists that participate in mentorship programs, educational collaborations, and leadership development initiatives led by SCAI throughout the year.
